Veteran Nollywood actor, producer, director and screenwriter Taiwo Hassan, known to millions as Ogogo, died on Sunday, 23 August 2026, at the age of 66. His daughter, Kira Taiwo, confirmed his death during an emotional Instagram Live broadcast, and senior colleagues in the industry, including actor and filmmaker Saheed Balogun, also confirmed it.
