Checked 2 November 2026. Hiring cleaners in Lagos used to mean a phone number from a neighbour and a cash payment at the gate. Today many cleaning firms take bookings online and accept card payments, bank transfers or Paystack payment links, which gives you a record of what you paid and to whom. That matters, because cleaning is a job where the price, the scope of work and responsibility for damage are easy to dispute afterwards.
This guide explains how to find and vet cleaning services that accept card, transfer or Paystack payments, names Lagos cleaning companies with their own websites that you can check yourself, gives typical 2026 prices for sofa, deep and post-construction cleaning by property size, and sets out the questions and payment safeguards to use before you book. It is written with Ikeja and the wider Mainland in mind, but the checks apply anywhere in Lagos.
How Paystack and card payments help you
Paystack is a payment company used by thousands of Nigerian businesses. When a cleaning firm sends you a Paystack payment link or uses Paystack checkout on its website, the payment page normally shows the merchant’s business name, and you can pay by card, bank transfer or USSD. You then receive an email receipt. That gives you three protections a cash or personal-account transfer does not: proof of who you paid, a dated receipt, and a business that has had to register with the payment provider.
Very few Lagos cleaning companies state their payment methods on their websites, so do not assume. Ask directly: “Can you send a Paystack link or an invoice in your company name?” A firm that can only accept transfers to a personal account is not automatically a scam, but you carry more risk.
Lagos cleaning companies with their own websites
The firms below were found on their own websites on 2 November 2026. Inclusion is not an endorsement, and we have not tested their services. Check reviews, ask questions and confirm payment options before booking.
- Fichaya (fichaya.com): publishes prices online with “Book Now” buttons for regular cleaning, deep cleaning, rug and carpet cleaning and fumigation. Its pricing page lists regular cleaning of a 3-bedroom flat from about ₦16,661, deep cleaning of a flat from about ₦81,163 and of a duplex from about ₦98,793.
- Reis Cleaners (reiscleaners.com.ng): publishes a price list with separate Mainland and Island rates, including deep cleaning of a 3-bedroom flat at ₦90,000 on the Mainland and ₦120,000 on the Island, and full-set sofa cleaning at ₦45,000 Mainland or ₦70,000 Island. Bookings are by phone, WhatsApp or email.
- NeatSpace (neatspace.ng): offers post-construction, carpet and rug and home cleaning, and says it covers Lagos Island, the Mainland, Lekki, Victoria Island and Ikeja. Prices are by quote.
- SWOOSH Nigeria (swooshnigeria.com): specialises in fabric and leather upholstery, rug and mattress cleaning, with online booking calendars on its website.
- SqueakyClean Nigeria (squeakycleannigeria.com): lists a Lekki Phase 1 address, an online quote form and residential deep cleaning, post-construction and upholstery services, and says it is insured.
App-based marketplaces that hold your payment until the job is done are another option, but read their dispute rules carefully before relying on them.
Typical 2026 cleaning prices in Lagos
Prices vary with property size, how dirty the space is, location (Island and Lekki rates are often higher than Mainland rates), whether the company brings machines and chemicals, and how many cleaners are sent. Use the table as a starting point, not a quote.
| Service | Property / item | Typical published price | Source |

| Deep clean | 3-bedroom flat | From about ₦81,163 (Fichaya); ₦90,000 Mainland / ₦120,000 Island (Reis) | Fichaya, Reis Cleaners |

| Post-construction | Full new building | Quoted after inspection | Most providers |
Low published “from” prices are often for light cleaning with your own products. Deep and post-construction cleans need machines, chemicals and more people, which is why quotes jump sharply.

What each type of cleaning should include
Sofa and upholstery cleaning
Expect vacuuming, a fabric test, stain treatment and hot-water extraction or shampooing, followed by drying time. Leather needs a different cleaner and conditioner. Ask how long the sofa must dry before use; rugs taken away for washing may need 24 to 48 hours.
Deep cleaning
A deep clean goes beyond a regular sweep: inside cabinets and wardrobes, degreasing the kitchen, scrubbing tiles and grout, toilets and bathrooms descaled, fans, switches, doors and windows wiped, and under furniture. Agree in writing whether inside the fridge, oven, windows and balcony are included.
Post-construction cleaning
After building or renovation, cleaners remove cement splashes, paint drops, sticker residue and fine dust from floors, windows, frames and fittings. It often takes a team of several people a full day or more. If you are building, include it in your budget alongside other finishing costs; our guide to the cost of building a house in Nigeria covers the bigger picture.
Questions to ask before you book
- Scope: exactly which rooms and items are covered, and what costs extra.
- Team and time: how many cleaners, and how many hours.
- Supplies: who brings machines, chemicals and ladders, and whether you must provide water and power or fuel for a generator.
- Damage: whether the company is insured and how it handles broken items or stained fabrics.
- Re-clean guarantee: whether it will return to fix missed areas reported within a set time.
- Staff vetting: whether cleaners are employees with ID cards and supervisors on site.

Payment safety: how to pay without being cheated
- Pay through the company’s official website checkout, app or a Paystack link that shows its business name.
- If you pay by transfer, the account name should match the business name. You can check whether a business is registered on the CAC public search.
- Pay a deposit to book and the balance after you inspect the finished job, especially for deep and post-construction cleans.
- Get a written invoice listing rooms, items, date and total price, and keep your receipt.
- Never send money to a different number or account that contacts you on WhatsApp claiming to be the company. Our guide to common WhatsApp scams explains this trick.
- Know the fees on your side; our article on bank transfer charges in Nigeria explains what your bank may deduct.

Booking cleaners in Ikeja: practical tips
Ikeja combines busy estates such as GRA, Opebi, Allen, Alausa and Omole with offices and shops, so demand is high around month-end, moving dates and festive periods. A few habits make booking easier:
- Book early in the week. Weekend and month-end slots fill fast, and some firms charge more for Sunday or same-day jobs.
- Ask about Mainland rates. Several companies price the Mainland lower than the Island, so confirm you are being quoted the Mainland rate if you live in Ikeja.
- Check estate rules. Many estates require visitors’ names and vehicle details in advance; send these to your gate so the team is not delayed.
- Plan for power and water. Extraction machines and pressure washers need electricity. If your area has outages, agree in advance who provides generator fuel, or ask whether the firm brings its own.
- Send photos and floor sizes. A short video of the space helps companies give an accurate quote rather than a vague range that grows on the day.
If you clean regularly, a monthly or fortnightly subscription is usually cheaper per visit than repeated one-off deep cleans. Many households book one deep clean, then a lighter regular service to keep the place in shape.
How to avoid cleaning service scams
- Prices far below the market: a ₦15,000 “deep clean” of a 4-bedroom duplex usually means extra charges on the day or a poor job.
- No address or website: an Instagram page alone is not proof of a business. Look for a website, a Google Business listing with recent reviews and a physical address.
- Full payment upfront to a personal account: the most common pattern in complaints.
- Fake reviews: many five-star reviews posted on the same day are a warning. Ask a neighbour or estate manager who they use.
- Unsupervised access: lock away valuables, documents and cash, and make sure someone you trust is present.

Frequently asked questions
How much is sofa cleaning in Lagos in 2026?
Published prices include ₦45,000 for a full set on the Mainland and ₦70,000 on the Island from Reis Cleaners, and from ₦30,000 for an L-shaped sofa. Leather, heavy stains and large sets cost more.
How much does deep cleaning a 3-bedroom flat cost in Lagos?
Published prices range from about ₦81,000 to ₦120,000, depending on the company, the condition of the flat and whether it is on the Mainland or the Island.
Is it safe to pay a cleaning company with Paystack?
Paying through Paystack or a company website checkout gives you a receipt and shows the business name. It is safer than paying a personal account, but you should still check reviews and agree the scope in writing.
How long does post-construction cleaning take?
A small flat may take a day; a large duplex or new building can take several days with a full team. Ask for the number of cleaners and days in the quote.
Should I pay the full amount before the job?
It is better to pay a deposit to book and the balance after inspecting the work. Some app-based services take full payment but hold it until the job is completed.
