Glo is often the network people choose when they want more data for their money, but Glo plan lists online disagree with each other more than most. Prices and sizes change, promotions come and go, and some websites still publish prices from 2023. This guide lists Glo’s data plans for 2026, shows where the sources agree and where they do not, and explains which plan gives the best value.
We compared two 2026 plan roundups (May and June 2026) and ignored a widely shared list that was last updated in August 2023. Because they differ on several plans, confirm any price on *312# before you pay.
The short answer
- The most commonly recommended everyday plan is N3,000 for 10.5GB (30 days), about N286 per GB. One source says 8.5GB of that is for any time and 2GB is night data.
- Small plans cost the most per GB: N1,000 for 2.6GB works out to about N385 per GB.
- Big plans are far cheaper per GB: N50,000 for 425GB is about N118 per GB, and N100,000 for 1TB (valid for a year) is about N100 per GB.
- Buy with *312#, check balance with *323#, share data with *321#. Night, campus and some special plans use *777#.

Glo monthly plans
These monthly plans (30 days) appear in the 2026 sources with the same data size:
- N1,000: 2.6GB
- N2,500: 7.2GB
- N3,000: 10.5GB
- N4,000: 12.5GB
- N8,000: 25GB
For these the two 2026 sources disagree, so check before buying:
- N2,000: 4.5GB in one list, 6.25GB in the other.
- N5,000: between 15.6GB and 32GB depending on the list.
- N10,000: 32.5GB in one list, 42GB in the other.
- N15,000: 52.5GB or 64GB.
- N20,000: 107GB or 120GB.
These gaps are not small, and a 32GB plan at N5,000 would beat the N3,000 plan on value if it is real. One source flagged it as unconfirmed. If you are considering a larger plan, check the exact size in *312# first and screenshot it.
What each plan really costs per GB

- N1,000 for 2.6GB: about N385 per GB
- N2,500 for 7.2GB: about N347 per GB
- N3,000 for 10.5GB: about N286 per GB (about N353 per GB if you count only the 8.5GB anytime data)
- N4,000 for 12.5GB: about N320 per GB
- N8,000 for 25GB: about N320 per GB
- N30,000 for 225GB: about N133 per GB
- N50,000 for 425GB: about N118 per GB
- N100,000 for 1TB: about N100 per GB
These are our calculations from the listed prices, before any bonuses. The N3,000 plan is the best of the small and mid-sized ones, and the N8,000 plan does not improve on the N4,000 plan per GB, so skip it unless you need the volume. For comparison, see our guide to Airtel data plans, where a 100GB plan costs about N200 per GB.
Other Glo plan types

Daily and night plans
- N50: 45MB (1 day)
- N100: 245MB (1 day)
- N200: 525MB (2 days)
- N300: 1.35GB (2 days) in one list; another lists 1GB for 3 days for social platforms only
- N500: 2GB (2 days)
- Night plans work from 12am to 5am only: N25 for 250MB, N50 for 500MB, and a 1GB night plan at N200 (a N100 version for 1GB over five nights is also listed). Use *777#.
Weekly and weekend
- N500: about 1.5GB for seven days (social platforms only in one list).
- N1,500: about 6GB for seven days.
- Weekend plan: N500 for 3GB, Friday to Sunday.
Always-On plans
N2,000 for 6GB (*312*183#) and N3,500 for 15GB (*312*184#). When the data runs out, speed drops to a throttled rate (about 512Kbps, according to one source) instead of cutting off.
Social and YouTube bundles
My-G and WTF bundles are limited to social apps such as WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram. YouTube bundles work only in the YouTube app: N250 for 1GB (one day) and N600 for 3GB (two days).
Campus Booster
These give roughly double data in Glo 4G campus zones: N2,000 for 2GB standard and 4.5GB on campus, and N5,000 for 5GB standard and 11.2GB on campus (30 days). Dial *777#.
Mega plans
- N30,000: 225GB (30 days)
- N36,000: 300GB (30 days)
- N50,000: 425GB (30 days)
- N60,000: 355GB (90 days)
- N75,000: 675GB (120 days)
- N100,000: 1TB (up to a year)
Glo has no true unlimited plan: the biggest plan is capped at 1TB.
Glo Cafe app offers
The Glo app lists app-only offers such as N200 for 750MB and N300 for 1.5GB (one day each), and a “Tuesday Data Fiesta” with N100 for 500MB, N200 for 1GB, N500 for 3GB and N900 for 6GB (one day each, Tuesdays only). These offers are not always available.
Is Glo good value? The catch
Glo’s price per GB is usually lower than rivals’ small plans, but value is only real if the network works well where you live. Opensignal’s July 2026 report measured Glo’s average download speed at 13.0 Mbps and 5G availability at 4.5%, below MTN and Airtel (see the fastest network in Nigeria). Glo scored better than Airtel on reliability (576 against 419). A practical approach is to buy a N500 plan first to test the signal where you live and work before taking a monthly plan.
How to buy and manage Glo data
- Dial *312#, choose Buy Data and pick a category, or use the Glo app.
- Choose one-off instead of auto-renew on your first purchase to avoid surprise deductions.
- Check your balance with *323#.
- To stop auto-renewal, text STOP to 127.
- For help, dial 121.
Which Glo plan should you pick?
- Light use: N1,000 for 2.6GB, or a weekend plan if you browse mostly on weekends.
- Regular use: N3,000 for 10.5GB.
- Heavy use or sharing: a larger plan, after confirming the size in *312#.
- Households and offices: N30,000 to N50,000 plans if Glo has a stable signal there.
- Students: check Campus Booster only if you are in a Glo campus zone.

Bottom line
For most people the N3,000 plan with 10.5GB is the best everyday Glo bundle, and the N50,000 and N100,000 plans offer the lowest cost per GB for heavy users. Because Glo’s plan lists disagree, take a screenshot of the plan in *312# before you pay, and test the network in your area first.
