Wayne Rooney could not believe that Everton and Burnley shared the points in a tense encounter on Saturday.
Everton felt that they should have had an opportunity to win from the penalty spot, as Tyler Dibling’s effort was blocked by Jaidon Anthony’s arm.
However, Craig Pawson did not award a spot kick, and the Clarets had several chances to secure the three points in the closing stages.
David Moyes‘ side held on to take a point on a disappointing afternoon at Turf Moor on 27 December.

Everton were without Jack Grealish and other high-profile absentees for the contest, and that restricted their ability to create good chances.
However, the hosts did not have the same problem, and Rooney picked up on that in his post-match analysis for the BBC, as a graphic was shown.
Speaking on Match of the Day (27 December, 23:42 pm), he said: “Burnley, if you look here, had 16 shots today, and not one on target, expected goals was up, it was 1.65, touches in the opposition box was high as well, but no shots on target from 16, that is not good enough.”
Why Moyes will be concerned with Rooney reveal
The fact that Scott Parker’s side recorded 16 shots will be a huge concern for Moyes, as they are one of the worst teams in the division.
The Clarets sit 19th in the top-flight, although they have actually scored one more goal than the Blues this season.
Moyes prides himself on his side being solid defensively and building from those foundations, but that was not the case when the Toffees travelled to Lancashire.
The Scotsman will be desperate to get the likes of Grealish, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Iliman Ndiaye back so his side can create again, but the lack of defensive security will be an even bigger factor for the veteran manager.
The hosts constantly got in behind, and on another day, they would have taken their chances, leaving the Merseysiders to walk away with no points, with their tails between their legs.
Moyes will hope that it was just a sloppy afternoon, and the fact that his side were without their main creative players meant the defence was under more pressure, but given they have lost their last three, it may be more than that.
Only time will tell whether that is the case.
