The Venezuela Solidarity Campaign in Nigeria (VSCN) has condemned the reported multiple str+kes by the United States military against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, describing them as “imperialist aggression” and a v+olation of international law.
In a statement issued on Saturday, January 3, the group said the att+cks represented “yet another v+olent attempt by U.S. imperialism to cr¥sh a sovereign nation that dares to resist domination, exploitation, and neoliberal control.”
The statement was jointly signed by Gerald O. Katchy of the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights, Dimeji Macaulay of the Anti-Fascist Movement, Blessing Yusuf of the Federation of Informal Workers of Nigeria (FIWON), and Abiodun Emmanuel Fayemi of the African Farmers and Agricultural Practitioners (AFAP).
VSCN expressed concern over uncertainty surrounding the safety and whereabouts of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro following the reported strikes, stating that “targeting a sovereign state and its leadership through military force is not diplomacy, it is t+rorrism at the level of states.”
The group rejected claims that the action was aimed at promoting democracy or human rights, arguing that it was driven by strategic and economic interests, particularly oil. It cited past U.S. interventions in Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, and Latin America as examples of actions that led to “d+ath, d%struction, chaos, and permanent instability,” describing Venezuela as the latest target.
Drawing from Africa’s history of colonialism and foreign interference, VSCN said Nigerians and Africans recognize such patterns and stand with Venezuela’s right to sovereignty and self-determination.
The campaign demanded an immediate halt to U.S. military actions, transparency on President Maduro’s safety, the lifting of sanctions, and accountability for alleged v+olations of international law. It also urged the Nigerian government, the African Union, and Global South nations to oppose the att+cks, warning that “silence in the face of aggression is complicity,” while calling for global solidarity with Venezuela.

While Zamfara is being overwhelmed and nobody talks about it, no condemnation.
Well done o
Mr. And Mrs. Protest.
If you investigate this people their sponsor deal with tinubu or deal with drug directly
Lol… I know some of these people here. They carry our “internal affairs” for head more than some of the people criticizing them.
They are Left activists with whom I’ve known and work with for years. They have never keep quiets in criticizing, resisting and protesting against the neoliberal policies of the Nigerian ruling class.
The people criticizing them have never done half of what they have done for the country, except to stay behind their keypads and complain.
If half of Nigerians have joined us in this fight, we would have gotten our freedom from the VIPs (Vagabonds In Power).
The “TRUTH” can only be guilty when ‘LIE’ is the judge ✍️

No protest of lack of good governance in their state. They are protesting against the removal of a dictator that doesn’t conduct free and fair election.Pls don’t stop the protest until Maduro is reinstated.
