Enzo Maresca is reportedly under growing pressure and could be at risk of losing his job as Chelsea head coach if results fail to improve in January.

According to a report from Sky Sports, the Chelsea hierarchy are increasingly concerned by the team’s poor run of form, particularly their struggles during the month of December for the second consecutive season.

Chelsea managed just one league victory in December — a 2-0 win over Everton — from six Premier League matches during that period.

January is now set to be a defining month for Maresca, with Chelsea facing a demanding schedule of nine games across four different competitions. The coming weeks could prove crucial in determining whether the club’s hierarchy continue to back the Italian coach or decide to make a change.

  1. Tactically inept !

  2. Winning the manager of the month award is always a bad omen for the next few or many games afterwards…

  3. Good that’s what he gets for screwing leicester city over

  4. The coach has been given enough time to manage the team it’s too late for him. He has team selection and substitution problem. He substitute to weaken the team and doesn’t know which team to select for an opponent. Very bad!!!

  5. He must win 10 straight matches or else, he should be sacked.

  6. This man already destroyed CFC.The Great Roman should take over CFC again.

  7. Why wait,do it now.
    New year new team

  8. Where going nowhere with this guy

  9. When we had a winning team we never had all this rotation to protect the players, they are young players and we need them to get used to each other, they won’t do that by continually changing the players, we will get the odd win but that is what’s happening. Get a settled side.

  10. Have the directors also thought about sacking themselves?
