Doctor dies after contracting Lassa fever from her patient in Jos 😭 💔
The Bingham University Teaching Hospital (BHUTH) community, Jos, Plateau State, is mourning the pa+nful loss of one Dr. Salome Oboyi, a Senior Resident Doctor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Dr. Oboyi passed away two days ago after battling Lassa fever, which she reportedly contracted while attending to a patient with the same diagnosis in the course of her duties.
Her d+ath has left colleagues, friends, and patients deeply saddened, as she is remembered for her dedication, professionalism, and selfless service.
