Uganda’s President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has taken over as Chairman of the East African Community, succeeding Kenya’s President William Ruto.
The leadership transition was confirmed during the 25th Ordinary Summit of EAC Heads of State held in Arusha, Tanzania.
