Actress Blessing Obasi-Nze has opened up about how she and her partner handle finances in their marriage.
Speaking in an interview with Diary of a Naija Girl, she said, “It’s 100/100. There is no 50/50 with me and my partner.” She explained that their arrangement is based on understanding and equality, not calculations.
According to her, “We just do things equally and sometimes he does it and just sends the receipt to me, and I do likewise.” Emphasizing shared responsibility, she added, “I bring mine, he brings his.”
Obasi-Nze also made it clear why she dislikes splitting responsibilities into ratios, saying, “I can’t cause be doing 50/50 or 70/30 because it’s like office work already.” She added.
