South Africa and China have signed the China–Africa Economic Partnership Agreement


South Africa and China have signed the China–Africa Economic Partnership Agreement, a deal that grants South African exports duty-free access to the Chinese market while encouraging greater investment into the country.

The agreement was concluded in Beijing by Trade, Industry and Competition Minister Parks Tau and China’s Commerce Minister Wang Wentao during a joint economic and trade commission meeting.
