Chelsea will have to stump up around £100million if they wish to sign Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson ahead of Man United and Man City.
Anderson has been a key man for Forest over the last 18 months, and Chelsea are known to be keen admirers of his abilities.
Man City are believed to be the favourites to land the England midfielder this summer, but he is not expected to leave the City Ground until after the World Cup.
He has made 32 appearances across all competitions for struggling Forest this season, registering one goal and two assists.
Chelsea are set to battle several top clubs for his signature, and as I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Transfer Insider podcast, they will have to pay a hefty fee to land him this summer.

Newcastle are also interested in taking Anderson back to Tyneside this summer, but are set to be priced out of a move, while they may also not be able to offer him Champions League football.
Liam Rosenior’s Chelsea squad is stacked full of talented midfielders as it stands, but their riches could allow them to fork out a nine-figure fee for the 23-year-old.
Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: “Manchester United are long-term admirers of Anderson, and I’m sure they will push Manchester City to try and sign him.
“Newcastle are probably down the list in that race for Anderson. You’ve got City, United…Chelsea are also admirers of Anderson as well.
“If Forest do end up selling Anderson, you’re probably looking that it could be around the £100million mark.”

Chelsea also interested in Dusan Vlahovic deal this summer
Chelsea’s form has improved massively under new boss Rosenior, but they still do not look like a side that can compete for the Premier League title as it stands.
Joao Pedro and Liam Delap have each impressed at times this season, but the Blues are set to be in the market for a new striker this summer, with Juventus’ Vlahovic firmly on their radar.

The Serbia international has bagged 64 times in 164 games over the last four years in Turin, with eight goals in 20 appearances across all competitions so far this season.
His Juve contract is set to expire in the summer, with new terms yet to be reached, and Football Insider recently revealed that Chelsea could swoop to sign him on a free transfer ahead of next term.
