Chelsea captain Reece James has backed Cole Palmer to stay at Chelsea, and believes that the 23-year-old is committed to the Chelsea cause.
“It’s been a difficult period for him. He’s faced several setbacks this season, but we’re very happy to have him,” Reece James said.
“In the 45 minutes he played today, he showed what he’s capable of. Everyone needs to be patient with him. He’s an amazing player and still very young. He will add more in time.
“Of course, he is committed to Chelsea. He is a Chelsea player, and during transfer windows there’s always speculation about many players – that’s normal. He behaves well, and we are pleased with him.”
