Mozambique has opened a major graphite processing plant valued at $150 million, marking a decisive step toward local value addition and stronger exports.
The facility integrates mining, beneficiation, and full processing, with an annual capacity of 200,000 tonnes. By processing graphite locally, Mozambique is positioning itself higher in the global supply chain while creating jobs and strengthening industrial capability.
