Ghana is edging closer to a major trade agreement with China that could significantly reshape bilateral commerce between the two partners.
The proposed framework would provide zero tariff access for strategic Ghanaian exports, including cocoa and cashew, a move officials say could help narrow the trade deficit while stimulating employment across value chains.
The agreement is expected to be formally signed in the coming weeks.
