Manchester United came from a goal down to beat ten-man Crystal Palace 2–1 in the English Premier League on Sunday.
The Red Devils conceded early in the first half but rallied after the break to extend their unbeaten run under interim manager Michael Carrick. Bruno Fernandes scored the equaliser, while Benjamin Sesko netted the winner.
United were sluggish in the opening exchanges and fell behind in the fourth minute when Maxence Lacroix headed home from a cross to give Palace the lead.

Palace, who had won their previous two matches at Old Trafford, saw their advantage slip in controversial circumstances. Matheus Cunha went down in the penalty area after Lacroix appeared to pull his shirt. The referee awarded a penalty and stood by his decision despite a VAR review.
Fernandes converted from the spot in the 57th minute before turning provider eight minutes later, setting up Sesko to head home the winner. The Slovenian has now scored in three successive matches and has seven goals in his last eight games for United.
Carrick’s side were denied a wider margin of victory by former United goalkeeper Dean Henderson, who produced fine saves to keep out efforts from Casemiro and Amad Diallo.
The victory marked United’s sixth win in seven matches under Carrick and lifted them to third on the table with 51 points from 28 matches, ahead of Aston Villa on goal difference. It is the first time since 2023 that the Old Trafford side have climbed into the league’s top three.
