Italian reporter Gianluca Di Marzio says that a former Chelsea manager is on Manchester United’s list to replace Ruben Amorim.
United followed Chelsea suit by parting ways with their manager this week, just days after Enzo Maresca and Chelsea parted company.

Chelsea are now on the verge of replacing Maresca with Liam Rosenior from Strasbourg, which is expected to be confirmed very soon now.
And in what could be a game of managerial dominos happening, could Maresca be about to slot in as the new Manchester United manager to replace Amorim?
Maresca was linked with the United job pretty much as soon as it was announced that they had sacked Amorim yesterday, so it’s a pretty obvious link to make seeing as Maresca is now out of work, has managed in the Premier League for the last two seasons, and United have a vacancy.
And there has now been more reports suggesting that Maresca could become the next manager of Manchester United this week.

The Italian reporter has posted on his website last night and says that Maresca is on Manchester United’s list of names to potentially come in and replace Amorim.
The report also mentions Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner, who has been strongly linked and does actually seem like a more likely candidate than Maresca at this point. But anything can happen here and I am sure that Maresca would consider it should he be offered the role.
Chelsea move forward
The Blues are moving on this week and have a game against Fulham to think about tomorrow night. It will be Callum McFarlane in charge of that game as well, with the U21s manager continuing to cover the first team until the new permanent manager comes in.
