After nearly three years of silence, commercial aviation is cautiously returning to Sudan’s capital. On February 1, 2026, Sudan Airways operated its first domestic flight into Khartoum International Airport, carrying 160 passengers from Port Sudan.
This marks the first commercial landing in Khartoum since April 2023 — a symbolic step toward restoring mobility and normal life.
