Chisora vs Wilder LIVE: Coach enters ring in wild start!
Chisora promised he’d go for a first-round KO, and he gets right after Wilder, stooping low and swinging over the top.
He then bullies Wilder, who is 40lb lighter, against the ropes. Chisora was always going to do this in phases tonight.
They soon separate, and Chisora lands a few clubbing blows, but also walks past the outstretched jab hand of Wilder and onto a couple of counter rights.
More wrestling on the ropes, with Wilder actually getting the better of the tussle for now. Back in the open, Wilder misses with a wild left hook.
Both men land rabbit punches in the clinch, and they nearly topple over the top rope!!
The ref separates them, with help from one of Chisora’s coaches, who should NOT be running into the ring! What a wild first round, wild…

Chisora vs Wilder LIVE: ‘Hotel California’ for Delboy
One of Chisora’s old favourites plays on the speakers: The Eagles’ “Hotel California”.
It never gets old, but Chisora himself has finally grown old in this sport.
He emerges in a cowboy hat and his trademark Union Jack bandana, to immense cheers.
He conducts the fans in a singalong, but some are intent on “ohh, Derek Chisora” still!
He’s in the ring. Goosebumps.

Chisora vs Wilder LIVE: Boos for Wilder!
Wilder walks out to a strangely-serene tune, but with fans serenading him with boos at the O2 Arena!
Then the home faithful hit him with chants of “ohhh, Derek Chisora!”
He’s walking into the lion’s den, is Wilder. His first fight on UK soil in 13 years. In 2013, he stopped Audley Harrison in Sheffield.
He gets a few fist bumps from the fans in the front row as he walks down the ramp, at least.
Now he’s prowling around the ring, as we await Chisora for ONE LAST TIME.

Chisora vs Wilder LIVE: Last-minute predictions
Okay, thoughts from ringside: I’m going to back Chisora, who I think may find a stoppage in the eighth round.
If Wilder can turn back the clock and is not as gun-shy as he’s been in recent years, he really could get Chisora out of there – and his KO of Robert Helenius a few years ago showed that, even on the back foot when not loading up, he has natural power on the counter. Delboy could walk onto a shot like that.
But it’s Chisora’s very ability to walk through shots right until the final bell that makes me believe he will wear down a faded version of Wilder.
My colleague Will Castle, next to me, has this to say:
“With Wilder’s powers having significantly waned, I can’t see the “Bronze Bomber” doing what he needs to in the early rounds, putting the ball firmly in Chisora’s court in the later rounds.
“I’m going for a Chisora knockout in the seventh. Whether Delboy actually retires after that is anyone’s guess.”

Chisora vs Wilder LIVE: Riley proves point
“There’s a lot of people that aren’t YouTubers that can’t win what I’ve won, so talk to me now!”
Point proven by Viddal Riley, against a man who was meant to signal a real step up in opposition.

Chisora vs Wilder LIVE: Riley crowned European champion!
The judges’ scorecards are in…
Viddal Riley def. Mateusz Masternak via unanimous decision (119-110, 118-110, 118-110)
AND NEWWW! Riley claims the European title and should theoretically be in line for the IBF world cruiserweight title!
There was only going to be one result. A superb display by the Tottenham boxer.

Chisora vs Wilder LIVE: Late stumble by Riley!
This has been close enough to punch-perfect from Riley against a man who was meant to act as a step up in opposition. He has one more round to get through.
But it’s here that the Brit appears to experience his first real bit of adversity! He is caught at close range by Masternak and appears to stumble out of it – was he rocked or was that just a trip?
Either way, Masternak’s corner are going crazy. They’re sensing an opportunity.
Both throw down, Masternak searching for the last-gasp finish while Riley tries to counter derail any momentum he might be gaining.
Riley manages to get to the bell! We go to the scorecards…
