“Christopher Maikalangu of the APC, having satisfied the requirements of the law, is hereby declared the winner and is returned elected,” Abue stated during the official declaration.

Reacting to the outcome, APC Collation Agent Gambo Babale described the election and collation process as credible and transparent, commending INEC for what he termed a smooth exercise across polling units and collation centres. He noted that the PDP won two ward councillor seats in Karu and Karishi, which he said demonstrated the fairness of the process.

Similarly, YPP Ward Collation Agent Abdullahi Ibrahim applauded the transparency of the election and congratulated the winner. Result sheets were signed by party agents from ADC, APC, APGA, YPP, and NNPP present at the collation centre.
