FC Barcelona have officially announced their withdrawal from the European Super League project.
The club were among the driving forces behind the proposal when it was launched in 2021 with the backing of 12 of Europe’s biggest clubs, but following widespread backlash, teams quickly pulled out.
Real Madrid are now the only club remaining in the project.
