A forty year old man, Oghenevwogaga Emmanuel has confessed to defiling two underaged girls in his apartment in Agbarho Community, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
In an interview with the the Delta State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Emmanuel who is currently in custody in Asaba admitted being having intercourse with the victims aged 12 and 13 years respectivel.
Narrating how he carried out the act, Emmanuel said, “Them nor pull dress, I just remove the pants. Na for my house there”
The suspect who claimed to have a 19 year old daughter, claimed he was remorseful, “The thing wey I do e dey bad. In fact, I do wrong.”
One of the victims confirmed he sexually abused and defiled her and her friend in his house.
Bright Edafe, the command’s PRO, confirmed the report in the said video,saying, ‘We got a report around Agbarho that a certain man was defiling two(2)young under aged girls, one 13 and the other 12. It’s a pity I cannot put the camera on the victims. It’s very sad because when you look at the man here and you look at the victims, you will wonder what has this man found attractive in the bodies of these little girls.”
SP Edafe explained that the Divisional Police Officer, Agbarho apprehended the suspect whom he said will be charged for defilement.
He warned pedophiles in communities to leave children and young girls alone or be ready to face the consequences of their actions.
