Chelsea legend predicts Cole Palmer will leave if Chelsea don’t win the league in two years
Cole Palmer is being linked with a return to boyhood club Manchester City, amid rumours ex-Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca could also move there in the near future.
Marcel Desailly, who led Chelsea to win the FA Cup in 2000 doesn’t think Palmer will stay long at Chelsea if Chelsea doesn’t win the league in two years.
He said: “The question is whether he feels like Chelsea are going to win the Premier League in the next two seasons.
“If he doesn’t, I’m sure he will ask for a transfer request to a club that will build a system around him.”

Chelsea is just too much man. We last won the league in 2017 but the willing of chelsea board, and its technical panel to win the league is not there. Wat I know is that chelsea will lose so many important players in the next two summers because the desire to win the EPL is not there. James, Cowill, Palmer and Enzo are likely to leave because I do not see any meaningful reason for you to stay at a club that do not have any vision to achieve greatness
