European leaders on Sunday condemned US President Donald Trump’s threat to impose tariffs over opposition to his stance on Greenland, warning the move could strain transatlantic relations. They described the proposal as destabilising and counterproductive to long-standing alliances.
Several European nations, including Denmark, which oversees Greenland as an autonomous territory, said they stood united against Trump’s warning to impose tariffs of up to 25 per cent unless Greenland is ceded to the United States. The countries stressed that sovereignty and international cooperation must be respected.
In a joint statement, Britain, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden cautioned that tariff threats risk triggering a dangerous economic spiral. Meanwhile, the European Union convened an extraordinary meeting of ambassadors in Brussels to review the implications.

Trump with the heart of a lion .
Can we not just ignore Trumps behaviour, focus on what matters to the U.K. Greenland is Denmark and Greenland issue why are we getting involved. When We had to go to war over the Falklands I don’t remember a lot of support from Europe and we were in the EU then.
I think a lot of leaders here and in Europe are using this to distract their populations from problems at home.
Tariffs can be applied both ways
What goes around comes around. European are the real problems of the world. Checked the history of African Nations they are there. Paid back time. External forces implications.
