Plans for the burial of late gospel singer Bunmi Akinnaanu, popularly known as Omije Ojumi, have been suspended over unresolved family issues. The development was announced on Saturday by gospel artiste Lanre Alewilese via his Instagram page.
Alewilese disclosed that the Burial Planning Committee had cancelled all arrangements, citing challenges arising from within the singer’s family. He apologised for the inconvenience caused by the decision, noting that it was unavoidable under the circumstances.
Before the suspension, burial activities scheduled in Lagos included a service of songs and tribute night in Ikeja, with interment planned for January 21. In a follow-up video, Alewilese clarified that the decision was collectively reached by the family and the burial committee.

Infact when you are still breathing take good care of urself cos the rest is for the family with knife nd fork after demise.
So sad😭
Hmmm burial planning committee. It sounds somehow to me.
I hope the burial committee in quote all stood by her when she needed all the help.
Some are quick to be active on your matter when youre long gone
This is sad! Why can’t the family bury her in peace while afterwards settled their rift.
