Lere Olayinka, spokesman for the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, clashed with ARISE Television anchor Rufai Oseni during a live programme on Friday.
Olayinka, who appeared on The Morning Show, declined to respond to questions from Oseni, saying he would rather have a discussion with “reasonable human beings.”
The disagreement reportedly followed Olayinka’s objection to Oseni’s alleged use of the term “emudani” to describe some people.
Oseni had earlier asked Olayinka to explain the inclusion of former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Betta Edu, in the presidential campaign council despite corruption allegations against her.
However, Olayinka declined to answer any questions from Rufai Oseni.
“Well, I’m very sorry to say this, Oseni Rufai, I don’t want to answer any question from you. I want to concentrate.
“I want this conversation to be among reasonable human beings, people who will not come and tell, who will not come and describe other people as ‘emudani’”, Olayinka said.
