Kaduna North: Kaka dissolves campaign structure, Team up with APC

Hon. Abdulazeez Kaka has dissolved his House of Representatives primary election campaign structure in Kaduna North Federal Constituency, unveiling a new platform aimed at promoting reconciliation and strengthening unity within the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The decision was announced in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Chairman of the dissolved Campaign Council, Hon. Garba Adamu (Flour Mill), who said the move followed the APC primary election and what he described as the “fatherly intervention” of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to the statement, the newly established Team Kaka for Renewed Hope will serve as a platform for mobilising grassroots support for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda through civic engagement, youth and women empowerment, policy advocacy and initiatives that promote national unity and good governance.

It stated that members of the dissolved campaign council would form the foundation of the new platform, while details of its formal inauguration and programmes would be announced in due course.

The statement thanked members of the campaign council, various directorates, volunteers, support groups and APC faithful for their commitment and sacrifices during the primary election, describing their loyalty as invaluable.

It also reaffirmed Kaka’s loyalty to President Tinubu, Governor Uba Sani and the leadership of the APC, while appreciating the people of Kaduna North Federal Constituency for their support throughout the primary process.

Reacting to the development, the APC House of Representatives candidate for Kaduna North Federal Constituency, Malam Samaila Suleiman, described the dissolution of the campaign structure and the emergence of the new platform as a positive step towards reconciliation and party cohesion.

Suleiman commended Kaka for embracing unity, saying politics should ultimately be about service, reconciliation and the collective progress of the party and the constituency.

He extended a hand of fellowship to Kaka, members of Team Kaka for Renewed Hope and other APC supporters, urging them to close ranks and work together to consolidate the party’s strength ahead of the 2027 general election.

The APC candidate reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive representation and people-centred leadership, stressing that the party’s focus should now be on meeting the expectations of constituents and sustaining its electoral fortunes in Kaduna North.
