Estevao suffered a grade four hamstring injury in the defeat against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge last month.
The injury ruled the Brazilian out for the remainder of the season, and unfortunately it also put an end to his hopes of going to the World Cup this summer.
Chelsea hopeful Estevao will return early in pre-season
Estevao had returned to Brazil to do some of his rehabilitation, but was back in England to support his team-mates in the FA Cup final and as well as the last games of the Premier League season.
The 19-year-old showed glimpses of his potential and ended his debut season with eight goals and four assists in 36 appearances.
Chelsea will hope he’s fully fit to partake in pre-season under new manager Xabi Alonso, and BBC Sport have reported the Blues are hopeful he’ll be fit enough to return early in pre-season.
The report adds there’s hope he’ll take part in the tour of Australia and Asia with the Blues set to face the likes of Tottenham and Juventus as they prepare for next season.

It’s been reported Fernandez could play his final game for Chelsea against Sunderland on Sunday afternoon at the Stadium of Light.
It’s believed both Real Madrid and Manchester City have shown interest in the midfielder, who’s been unable to agree an improved deal with Chelsea so far despite talks.
A final decision is likely to be taken by Alonso, who reportedly only wants players who are fully committed to be part of the squad.
