Chelsea have been linked with many different names already in the last week. It is only just over a week since Liam Rosenior was sacked by Chelsea, but it already feels like it was a lifetime ago.

I don’t expect we will hear who the next Chelsea manager will be for a little while yet, and it will likely go on until the end of the season now. But plenty of names are being mentioned, and there are plenty of rumours flying around.
One name that seems pretty prominent is Marco Silva from Fulham. I’m not sure that he will be high on Chelsea’s shortlist, but he’s been warned off taking the job IF he gets offered it.
Allardyce on Silva going to Chelsea

In quotes picked up on X this week, Allardyce said on the No Tippy Tappy Podcast:
“As much as you want to take it, you have to be brave enough to say I’m better off staying at Fulham, unless Chelsea change their structure and say we have to change.”
In other news today…
Blues midfielder Romeo Lavia spoke this week about the Chelsea’ title chances and what he and his teammates thought about Calum McFarlane.
Liam Rosenior will get a lot of money from Chelsea after they sacked him, but it won’t be close to the full value of his deal. The BBC have broken it all down for us.
