‘My content creation story will motivate future storytellers’ – Motell

Content creator Motell has shared that his goal is to use his personal journey to motivate a new generation of digital storytellers and content creators.

Speaking during an interview on Beat FM, Motell looked back on how he started, admitting that he had no clear direction in the early days. “When I started, I honestly didn’t know what I was doing. I was just posting and hoping something would click,” he said.

He explained that success did not come quickly, noting that the process tested his confidence at several points. According to him, “there were times I would post consistently and still get little or no engagement, and it made me question if I was even cut out for this.”

Despite those struggles, the creator said his experience is now something he hopes will encourage others who are trying to find their voice in the digital space.

Despite the doubts, he emphasized persistence, saying, “I kept showing up because I knew if I stopped, I would never find out what I could become.”

A major shift came with embracing authenticity, as he explained, “The moment I stopped trying to be like everyone else and just became myself, everything started to change.”

He added, “People connect with realness. They don’t just want perfection, they want to feel you, understand you, and relate to you.”

On the effort behind each post, he noted, “A lot of people think it’s just about posting videos, but it’s deeper than that. It’s planning, filming, editing, and sometimes starting all over again.”

Speaking on challenges, he was candid about mental strain, stating, “Burnout is real. There are days I feel tired, uninspired, and just want to disappear for a while.”

He also addressed criticism, saying, “Not everyone will like you, and I had to learn that the hard way. But I chose to focus on growth instead of negativity.”

Amid the struggles, he acknowledged the rewarding moments, sharing, “Seeing people support me, share my content, and tell me I inspire them makes everything worth it.
