There are four Premier League games set to take place today, while the EFL has a full schedule available to watch on selected broadcasts.
Everything you need to know about which games are on TV on New Year’s Day and how to watch them:

- Championship lunchtime opener: The Championship action kicks off early in the day with a standalone fixture at 12:30pm. Blackburn Rovers will play Wrexham, and viewers can tune in via the Sky Sports Football channel.
