Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi is entering the music scene with his debut extended play (EP), More To Life, set for release on April 9.
Iwobi shared the news on Instagram, revealing the cover art and a nine-track list featuring solo songs and collaborations with artists including 24am, Teniola Time, Gidi, Fido, and SPKS.
Two tracks will showcase Iwobi performing solo, highlighting his growing confidence as a recording artist.
Iwobi is not entirely new to music. He previously teamed up with fellow footballer Chuba Akpom, who records under the name Skoli, as well as British rapper Ramz, on the track Hop Out.
Despite his growing interest in music, Iwobi continues to play a key role for Fulham, contributing four goals and three assists in the Premier League this season.
The midfielder, who nears his 100th cap as a Super Eagles player, was shown a straight red card for misconduct during Nigeria’s 2-2 draw versus Jordan on Tuesday.
He now returns to England to continue the season with Fulham FC, who sit in ninth position and will be travelling to Anfield on Saturday.
