Guinea has petitioned CAF to strip Morocco of their 1976 AFCON title, arguing that, like Senegal in 2025, Morocco walked off the pitch for 15 minutes before returning to beat Guinea and lift the trophy.
Guinea is arguing that the same standards applied to Senegal in 2025 should apply to Morocco’s 1976 win.
