Chelsea recorded the biggest pre-tax loss in English football history during the 2024–25 season, according to a UEFA report.
In Chelsea’s third full campaign under the ownership group led by Clearlake Capital and Todd Boehly, the club posted a pre-tax deficit of €407 million (£342m).
Across European football, only Barcelona’s €555 million loss in the 2020–21 season has been larger.
