Activities at the Lagos office of National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control were disrupted on Thursday as workers were unable to access the premises due to renewed protests against the agency’s ban on alcoholic sachet drinks.
Members of Food and Beverage Tobacco Senior Staff Association barricaded both entrance gates, preventing employees who arrived as early as 8:30 a.m. from gaining entry, leaving many stranded and bringing operations at the Lagos facility to a standstill.
