Chelsea and West Ham United have both been charged by the Football Association after a mass confrontation broke out late in Saturday’s Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are accused of failing to prevent their players from acting in an “improper and/or provocative manner,” while West Ham have been charged with not ensuring their players refrained from behaviour deemed “improper and/or provocative and/or violent.”
Both clubs have until Friday, February 6 to respond to the charges.
