Many of our youths have business plans and ideas, but do not have the start up capital. The Government and other NGOs can come up with loan services with low interest rates to assist.
Another way is by training our youths on vocational skills and providing the necessary tools they need to be independent after training. I believe the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) was created for this purpose but it seems they are overwhelmed with the high number of jobless youths in the country today. NGOs can also assist.
Finally, we also need to talk to our youths to embrace hardwork and honesty. Some of them are looking for the easy way out by doing Yahoo and engaging in other fraudulent acts.Â
