Many people proclaim to love God because they are religious, but it has been proven that being religious is totally different from loving God. Then, one may ask, What really determine whether one loves God or not?
The Bible says at 1John4:8 ”Whoever does not love has not come to know God, because God is love”. and 1John4:12 says ”No one has seen God at any time, if we continue loving one another, God remains in us and His love is made perfect in us”
From the above Bible accounts, it is obvious that the love you have for others, for your neighbours, for the poor, for the downtrodden etc will determine whether you love God or not.
