I want to respond to the part where you said…….” they have never really sat down to ask whether their choice is right or wrong………” you think it is easy to deviate from the religion of your parents which you have been indoctrinated with from childhood? That of the traditional worshippers where we see people breaking away more often is quite understandable because the two major religions in the world are totally against it. But even at that, leaving it comes with dire consequences from parents and close relatives. Now to the part of right or wrong choice, To be fair, I will say it is an open ended question because each religion has its own believes and doctrines and anyone not towing the path is going to hell. So which one should we believe? If we pick the two major religions that we have, both of them are also in conflict. We only try to make peace when we say we are serving the same God but when we delve deep into the two religions, we will see a huge gulf of difference.
