Our educational system cannot be productive simply because of corruption and selfishness on the part of our policymakers, apart from their incompetence and lack of focus. They have successfully destabilized the education structure handed over to us by the British and introduced a system that is just theoretical oriented. Today, we have Engineering graduates who cannot operate workshop machines and not to talk of produce anything with it. We have Engineers, Phd holders and Professors in our universities who are only good at cramming theory, laws and formulas but unable to transfer practical skills to students.
The whole education system needs to be overhauled for our country to make progress.
