…lauds commitment to culture, unity and peaceful coexistence

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Alhaji Saleh Ahmadu, the Madaki Lokoja and Makama of Kakanda Kingdom, on his birthday, commending his life of enterprise, national service and philanthropy.

In a statement issued on Thursday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu described Ahmadu as a distinguished Nigerian whose life reflects “a rare combination of enterprise, national service, philanthropy, and commitment to community development, as well as culture and tradition.”

The President acknowledged Ahmadu’s strategic leadership as Chairman of Trade Modernisation Project Limited, a project facilitated by the Nigeria Customs Service, noting that the initiative has strengthened trade facilitation, improved revenue efficiency and enhanced Nigeria’s competitiveness within the global trading system.

President Tinubu also lauded the Madaki Lokoja’s humanitarian contributions through the Saleh Ahmadu Foundation, which he said has delivered sustained interventions in education, healthcare and support for widows, among other social causes.

He further noted Ahmadu’s traditional roles as Madaki Lokoja and Makama of Kakanda Kingdom, praising his efforts in promoting social cohesion, religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence within his community and beyond.

“Your life reflects a rare combination of enterprise, national service, philanthropy, and commitment to community development, as well as culture and tradition,” the President said.

President Tinubu prayed that Almighty God grant Alhaji Saleh Ahmadu good health, strength and wisdom as he continues to serve the nation and humanity.
