When you look at how a country like United Kingdom has been making use of this 'see something, say something' policy positively to mitigate and reduce social ills and mishappenings, you will want to ask why has Nigerian government not been doing the same because to a large extent it would help the country against all these kidnappings, violence and most crimes that has become the order of the day. In UK, you see the adverts of 'see something, say something' every where you go. In the train station, inside the train, in the airport, bus stations, inside the bus, in the cities, in the news media, almost everywhere and the citizens are not keeping quiet anytime they see something suspicious, they report it to the appropriate authority to act on it and it is really helping their country. I think we need to do the same in Nigeria.
