I have observed this is becoming a trend among Naija women(although it is a common thing among oyinbos), but it is alien to our culture as africans, when a woman divorces her husband i think she should also divorce his name but most women today still carry on bearing the name of the divorced husband many years after. To me, i think this is just a sign that such a woman has not totally left the man, when you leave a man, you should bear your father’s name not that of the man you left anymore. What is your opinion house?
