West Ham United could have an offer to let a star who joined in the summer but has disappointed, leave this month, with an interested club ‘closely monitoring’ his situation.
Â
The Hammers have just brought in Graham Potter as boss and he inherits a side that had a number of arrivals last summer, in the shape of the likes of Crysencio Summerville, Carlos Soler, Niclas Fullkrug and Jean-Clair Todibo.
Â
Attacker Fullkrug has been unable to make much impact with injuries playing their part and question marks over his suitability for the Premier League raised by some.
Â
He has managed just nine Premier League games so far and is being linked with a move away after just four months.
Â
Â
Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt have emerged as the latest club to be linked with a move for the 31-year-old.
Â
According to German broadcaster Sky Deutschland, Eintracht Frankfurt have identified Fullkrug as an option in case they have to sell their in-form striker Marmoush.
Â
Â
The Egyptian has been linked with a move to Manchester City with reports emerging that a deal is close to being sealed.
Â
Fullkrug though is not the only potential candidate to replace the 25-year-old with Mainz star Jonathan Burkardt and Rennes striker Arnaud Kalimuendo also being linked.
Â
Â
The Germans are though ‘closely monitoring’ Fullkrug’s situation at West Ham and he will also stay on their radar for the summer if they do not try for him now.
