Yoruba actress and filmmaker behind the Ajakaju movie Eniola Ajao took to Instagram to express her sorrows regarding Bobrisky’s arrest by the EFCC.
In a lengthy but sympathetic post, Eniola Ajao wrote;
“Woke up very sad & My thoughts and prayers are with Bobrisky this morning. He has been very supportive. He should not be going through any issue as a result of the movie. Maybe I should not title the sequel of @ajakajumovie Ajakaju.
The gbas-gbos since the premiere and the cinema runs started are on another level; it is another Nollywood story on its own. I pray Bobrisky (Mummy of Lagos) gets home safely. Please EFCC, help us.
We have learned our lessons; we will do better and stop spraying money. We will only do transfers A Please show me love by going to cinemas across Nigeria; #ajakajuthemovie (Beast of two worlds) is still showing.”
In the midst of Eniola Ajao’s post for Bobrisky, you can read traces of guilt from her. She said that Bobrisky should not be going through any issue as a result of the movie. Recall that Bobrisky became a hot topic a few weeks back when he was awarded the best dressed female award at the Ajakaju movie premiere. This riled up a lot of netizens online, including Portable, who even released a diss song about him. It is possible that Eniola Ajao thinks this is root of Bobrisky’s arrest.
Despite the fact that she was sympathetic towards Bobrisky in her post, Eniola Ajao still squeezed in some promotion for her movie, by asking fans to go and watch it in the cinemas. She also teased a sequel stylishly when she said that the title of the sequel will not be Ajakaju.
As for Bobrisky’s fate, Kemi Filani reported earlier that the judgement for his case has been adjourned to a later date, and he is to remain in EFCC custody for the time being, by order of the court.
