  • Education Accreditation Suspension: The Federal Government of Nigeria plans to extend sanctions beyond Benin and Togo due to issues with degree accreditation. Minister of Education, Tahir Mamman, announced the intention to include countries like Uganda, Kenya, and Niger Republic.
  • Former Minister’s Invitation by EFCC: Sadiya Umar Farouq, a former Minister, faces potential arrest by the EFCC for allegedly ignoring an invitation related to a probe into an alleged N37.1 billion fraud during her tenure in the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development.
