- The Supreme Court restored the mandate of Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang, and Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal, overturning the nullification by the Court of Appeal.
- The Dangote Refinery in Nigeria’s commercial hub commenced production after receiving six million barrels of crude supply this week. It is now the largest single-train refinery globally.
