- An explosion shook the Rivers State House of Assembly complex on Sunday night, coinciding with alleged attempts by some lawmakers to impeach Governor Siminalayi Fubara. It was reported that unidentified arsonists hurled an explosive device into the building at around 9:25 pm, resulting in a fire outbreak.
