Former Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho, has claimed that the structure of the LaLiga club has seen them become the most successful team in Europe.
Mourinho was speaking to TNT Sports at Wembley, after Madrid beat Borussia Dortmund 2-0 to lift their 15th European title.
He said: “Real Madrid’s structure is so simple.
“Florentino Perez, Jose Angel Sanchez, the chief scout and the coach. That’s it.
“It’s absolutely correct and why they win.”
Mourinho himself failed to win the Champions League during his stint at the Bernabeu from 2010 to 2013.
He has however won it twice with FC Porto (2004) and Inter Milan (2010)
