Nigeria’s U-17 side, the Golden Eaglets will depart for Algeria on Sunday (today) ahead of the 2023 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
The Golden Eaglets were earlier scheduled to train in Germany for the competition but the plan was aborted due to logistical challenges and lack of sponsorship.
Head coach, Nduka Ugbade has already named 23 players for the competition.
The two-tme champions will be based in Constantine for the competition.
The Nigerian boys will play all their group games at Hamlaoui Stadium, Constantine.
The Eaglets are in Group B with Zambia, Morocco and South Africa.
