Napoli on Friday, finally agreed a deal to sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea on a permanent deal.
Both clubs have reached an agreement over a €30m fixed fee plus add-ons up to €15m for a €45m potential package.
Lukaku will put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Serie A side.
The Belgium striker’s move to Napoli, further hints that the club is ready to move on from Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen has been exiled by new manager, Antonio Conte, who was the driving force behind the Lukaku transfer.
Chelsea are keen on signing Osimhen, but the Nigerian does not want a loan deal and will not lower his wages.
The 25-year-old has been linked with the Blues’ Premier League rivals, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain as well as Saudi Arabian clubs.
But he has one week to try and get himself a new club or risk being ostracized at Napoli.
